To start with the basics....Are you following the ZEX tuning baselines for the specific plate, and was the system new when you put it on?

That type of plate circulates nitrous and fuel around the entire body of the plate, and it has more orifices than a spray bar plate. Therefore, you need bigger jets than a spray bar system would require to keep the pressure right so delivery is consistent. Also, is it using their solenoids, and are they rated above 150hp?

I would think 110 octane is plenty for the main fuel system and nitrous system. A good way to see what is going on would be to read the plugs as mentioned. Very possible it is leaning out.

Yes, i bought the kit new, and the solenoids are rated up to 300. it came with the jets for a 50,100... so on up to 300. im putting the jets and setting the retard exactly as they say.
Fuel is set at 6 psi flowing like they want, everything... bottle is always around 950-1000 psi.

do you have a seperate fuel regulator for the fuel side of the nitrous...also i would do anothe pass on the 200 set up, and tow back to the pits and pull a plug..that will tell you allot.

Yes i have a separate fuel system completely for the nitrous. its set at 6 PSI
Did you set the regulator at 6 psi hooked to the solenoid {deadheaded} or did you flow it through a hose and jet into a jug and set it at 6 psi ?

Is your cam setup for nos? If not you will only see number improvements on smaller jettings than big jettings. It rasies you comp more with the spray to a point where your combo probably works its best. The larger jets will exceed that slowing you down by creating bind up in the motor. Just my 2 cents from what I've seen in the past.

its spinning with the 200 and not spinning with the 150. You need to give your mph.

X2. Post your incrementals from each pass.

ok lets see here

best motor pass

1.63 60'

6.82 1/8 @ 97.91

11.43 1/4 @ 115.66

pass with 150 hit

1.51 60'

6.75 1/8 @ 103.70

ya that 200 hit isn't doing what its supposed to do. Looks like it needs some tuning. Fuel pressures and bottle pressures would be a good place to start.

The first two things that come to mind are that:

A) You're very likely spinning the rear tires with the 200 horsepower tune-up. The fact that it slowed down in the 60-foot time shows tire slippage. While you're probably not killing the tires, you're very likely black tracking well past the 660-foot mark.

B) If you made several passes on a single bottle, you were probably experiencing some pressure drop on the pass with the 200 horsepower tune-up. It's not difficult at all to drop into the 600 - 700 PSI range at the top end of the track, especially after a couple of hits with the bottle. As your pressure drops, the tune-up goes over-rich on fuel and horsepower drops off significantly. I'd invest in a bottle heater and a nitrous pressure gauge that is mounted somewhere in your sight from the driver seat position. You want to maintain bottle pressure between 900 - 950 PSI for optimum nitrous system performance.

As a side note, with 13.3:1 static compression and nitrous use, you should really consider using C16 fuel. Some may think that C16 is overkill in your combination, but I say you're better safe than sorry, especially with the larger tune-up.
