I like that hump hugger. I wish I would have seen them along time ago. Might not been around when I did my Grand Prix console. I love my console though as it has accessory outlets in it as well. It does look like it belongs in there and it matches the inside pretty well, and you didn't have to drill any holes to mount it. I might have to look at getting one for my next car...just in case they go out of business..that way I have it.

Hi! Can I ask what your current shifter boot and base plate came out of? Thanks, Bob

he is running a B&M hammer shifter. i may switch to one down the road but my mega shifter is working just fine.

Well, I know you got one but here is an aftermarket one with the factory 4 speed shifter. It's out of a 2001 Grand Prix if I remember correctly.

That looks really nice. I tried a console out of a 2000 Camaro, but it just would have taken too much work/modification to make it work.

And, yes, my shifter is a B&M Hammer. It came with the boot and cover that you see. The Hammer does not "fit" the 4L60E, but it does the 700R4 (at least they didn't at that time). I had to make some tweaks to the shifter cable bracket. The shifter is a little stiff, but works fine.
