i have a 1979 malibu classic, i was wondering if any one would know if i can run 30 by 9 inch slicks on a 3.5 inch backspacing. thanks

yes you can.... BUT.........30" tall with 9" wide and 3.5 b/c...better put some air shock on it..

i'm running a 28x10.5 slick with 3.5 b/c and my wheel-wells are stuffed..

It will fit just fine.

it will fit but allways check carefully. it gets real tight with a 30" tall tire where the the frame turns outward toward the body.
