brake pedal are very hard

Changed out the power booster and brakes are still very hard to push, but can steal stop but not very fast or good.Need all the help I can get,By the way just picked up the 67 Chevelle car but it had 4 wheel disc when we got it do not know who makes the m.Had the small booster and I got a big one maked for 67 Chevelle but still having the same trouble very hard to push down on the pedal. Everything was new on the brake system when we got the car also :!:

Ok let me asked this,do I need a single or dual power booster? Got a single on it now.

What size bore is your master cylinder? it may be too big.

I got my issue fixed recently and my brakes were stupidly hard because of a collapsed rear brake hose from when I swapped my diff and clamped the hose shut
