c clip elim removal

i picked up a gn rearend this past weekend (thanks brian!). i need to change the wheel studs to 3" studs and need to remove the axles from the housing to do so. i have no experience with c clip elims. once i get them out and change the studs, do i need to replace any seals or anything before puting them back in? i just want to make sure i have everything i need when i start doing this. these are strange c clip elims and axles if that matters.

Just slide them back in, they are just like a dodge 8 3/4 and a 9".

i figured that...just didn't know if everytime you took it apart you had to replace an axle seal or something. i figure it's better to ask first right? thanks for the reply.
