Guys NO lock collar on a c-clip elim kit. JUST the elimintoer aluminum housing. you will need at the very least 12 ton press. 20 is better and even then they are stubborn. YOU might just have to tank the old ones with the cut off wheel...:(

This is why we get paid for the headaches...lol. I wish I could say they all just come off easy...but we see that is not true. Keep the faith and keep trying. try very carefully NOT to nick the axle. You might have to cut it off in pieces...what ever it takes I highly doubt you would reused them again anyways. Jim

the ones i have done in the past for roundy round cars had lock collars like a 9 inch bearing pressed into a aluminum housing. and yes they require alot of pressure to get off

Had to cut them off, :-k in about buying a
hydraulic press, just to have one =P~ , I don't
think the Arbor press I have access to will be enough
to do it. Does anyone know how many tons of pressure
is required to press on new C-Clip elims?? Want to get
one that is big enough to do the job.
