At what vacuum rating does the enrichment side of the primaries open?
mine is set at 8hgin(strongest they have. 4"hgin is stock).. i put a vac guage on it while back. i cruise between 22-18hgin mild acc down to 10 hgin
4th gear at 65 is ~2000rpm and 20-21" on flat ground
5th is .75:1 @ 75 is 1800rpm and run 18-16hg
im running .095 jets with .073x.047 stock is .098 with .075x.047 which is~6% leaner in cruise and enrichemnt of the primaries.
secondaries stock is .095.. i through a .107 or .110(<- think it was that) which is enough to get black smoke out the exhaust .104 is 12% richer then .095 acording to edelbrock
when work dries down some i will get the guage moved to my dash and either snap pics or video

8) I always have ran a vacuum gauge on my cars to get the feel for efficiency and tuning purposes. 4hgin stock I guess would be my light off idle stumble culprit.... :-k

Hook the gauge to the timmed vac port should have no vac draw.. it is above the throttle blades... back throttle off and open up idle mix screw to fix the problem of off idle stumble.. u are currently idleing on you main fuelin circuit vs idle circuit
The step of spring change how quick fuelin come in from cruise to part throtlle accel stronger the spring quicker it comes in.
The 750 on my 383 cruise between 10-15in so it has a 5in in it
