Look at the shifter location & output shaft... :shock: Any idea how hard this is to change over to a slip yoke? Shifter looks easy enough, then again it may also be possible to just change the front of the driveshaft to a bolt-on piece.
*edit* But then I guess you'd need a collapsible driveshaft wouldn't you? :roll: #-o

if you want to use that you'll need a LS1 or a LT1 trans for parts and make one from the two of them....the tail housing is completely different and the shifter location on the LS and LT series transmission is on the tail housing...the shifter location on that CTS-V trans would probably put it up under the dash or very close to being under it.....I guess you could set the engine back about 8 inches :shock: lol.... see pic below

as far as the slip yoke....output shafts would most likely need changed too, a slip yoke output usually has longer splines than a non-slip yoke output
