Step 1- remove motor
Step 2 - install chevy motor
Seriously, I would see if there was some sort of restriction in the carb/intake. I would check to see how strong of a spark you are getting.
Check the spark control module that can be on the fender or firewall.
If you dumping fuel in the carb, with the same result. I don't see how it could be something in the line.
