I have been looking for some backspacing info in the tech section on the main page. I couldn't find it. Searching just came up with thousands of posts with varying degrees of help. Rather than start another thread with the same question we see all the time on here I came up with this>

Idea: Everyone post up their wheel and tire combos in a sticky thread in the new "wheels/tires/brakes" section.

Leave only this info:

Front:

Wheel diameter, width, and backspacing

tire size

Rear:

Wheel diameter, width, and backspacing

tire size

Mods: A short description of any mods needed to fit those tires.

Edit: TonyD suggested pics. Lets see 'em!

16x8 '99 T/A wheels with 245/50/16 tires front and rear. Had to use 2.25" adapters (2.5" adapter would have given a wider track).

Brian, did you have to use any type of adapter/spacer to make the 5.5" spacing work on your rear wheels?

No I didn't, but I have about a 1"1/4 between the tire and the frame. I need to beat on some parts of the wheel well though. Thanks

Brian
