Been restoring my 81 Malibu full body off frame. My rear floor support brace (In front of the rear wheel opening) on the underside is rusted on both ends.
This is where the frame/bushings set and the frame/body bolts run through.

Been trying to find a replacement support brace, but can only locate it for A-bodys. ](*,)

Does anyone know where to locate this item?

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Not trying to shell out the money for another vehicle as a donor, then separate the body off the frame to even get a good look at the braces to make sure they are not in the same condition before buying the shell.....:?

I am thinking about getting a floor pan support brace for an A-body, and stitch weld in the 2 ends that need to be replaced.
(Cant believe that they do not make replacements for the G-Body)

Has anyone done this? Is so did you have any issues getting it to fit properly?

I had the same issue... best bet is find one from a junkyard donor or make your own (what my dad & I did).
