I'm looking for some more front end travel. Currently I have 3 1/2" of lift. The question I have is - has anyone cut back the factory shock over hang, the A frame stop, to gain a little more travel. I don't see any issue's but interested in pros and cons.

Hard to see just under the stop bolt, see red circle in picture.

I personally haven't done it but I have seen it done before.

Can't see the pictures here at work, but I've seen people take meat out of the upper control arm for clearance.
