Front wheel studs change from metric to STD?

What have you all been using to convert the stock front wheel studs from the stock metric to either 7/16” or ½”? Need to get new lug nuts and want to use the long studs (2 7/8”+) if possible

You should be able to swap out the rotors with a set of a 79-80? Monte/Malibu/Camino ect.
