Well...

We had to make a slight dent in the primary closest to the upper control arm ear on the passenger side, no big deal.

Then, we had to MAJORLY reshape the primary closest to the frame rail. We took a propane torch and a huge prybar and made it fit. Honestly I wouldn't be suprised if the exhaust flow of that tube is cut in half with what we had to do. That was all with new engine mounts.

And the primary on cylinder 6 is rediculously close to the plug wire boot. It actually melted one almost off, and started in on another before I found a way to route the wires so they won't touch (zip tied to the 8th cylinder plug boot and wire)

I'm not happy with the headers, I want to find a better set but besides the modifications needed to be done, it's still not bad for $150. Plus on top of that, they are more of a "universal" type fit, seeing as they fit various other F, G, and A bodies along with a couple others I beleive.

I like the Dyno Max aluma coated headers - Look good fit good & worked w/ straight and angle. Went to hooker super comp 1 3/4, didn't gain a thing and a lot of problems on the left side. Just bought another set of Dyno Max at a swap meet for $125 and they are going back on.

schoenfelds here as well. they fit great! driver's side was a little tougher to get in. i doubt very much you'd find a QUALITY header for anywhere near that price. fyi, before this, i had dynomax headers. they are junk. mainly because the flanges are nearly non existant compared to a "good" set of headers. i had nothing but exhaust leaks no matter how tight i got the header bolts. they cost close to the same as the equivalent header from schoenfeld.

Any pictures of the Shoe's and Flowtech's? What spark plugs are you all using? I'd like to get a good set of headers over the winter before I start doing a serpentine and electric fan swap started.

You are the first negative that I have heard. The Dyno Max has the same size flange as my Super Comps and I am sorry I ever bought those.

Schoenfeld 1 3/4" on mine.

Had to slightly massage the Left Side. I ground a little off the lower control arm mounting pocket and dimple the header a little to gain clearance. It was slight.
