schoenfelds here as well. they fit great! driver's side was a little tougher to get in. i doubt very much you'd find a QUALITY header for anywhere near that price. fyi, before this, i had dynomax headers. they are junk. mainly because the flanges are nearly non existant compared to a "good" set of headers. i had nothing but exhaust leaks no matter how tight i got the header bolts. they cost close to the same as the equivalent header from schoenfeld.

You are the first negative that I have heard. The Dyno Max has the same size flange as my Super Comps and I am sorry I ever bought those.

maybe there are different quality levels in the dynomax headers. the flanges on 78mali350's car are exactly what i had on my dynomax headers. they're very flimsy and i found them very hard to seal properly to the head. if you compare them to the pics that new2malibu posted, you can see the difference in the flange on the schoenfelds. thicker, stronger, and seal WAY better.

Now I looked on Shoenfeld's website, it says for the G-body headers that it won't fit with the A/C blower box? Any truth to this?

I have them, they fit just fine. A couple spark plugs are a pain to get to (especially #8), but when isn't that an issue with a set of SBC headers?

Yeah I have those as well. I think spark plug number 6 is worse than 8 though. Especially trying to seat the boot onto the plug on my Taylor 8mm. The boot is huge on those.

I say get the 2451's. Even though earlier it seemed like I was bashing them, the quality of the welds on the headers are pretty nice. I just got the normal painted ones and a couple spots they are dinged up but after 6 months of being on my car there are no cracking or flaking paint spots. The flanges are beefy as hell too especially the collector. If Doober had no issues with his, it's probably something with my setup seeing as every car is different. Not sure what it would be. Possibly could be the headers, I did in fact by them about what, 3-4 years ago for my dad's Camaro when he still had it. I would like to try a set of different headers but I'm thinking it would wield close to the same results.

"Tube number 1 has a factory dent to allow plug clearance."

Wont that disturb the flow on the Hooker headers?

I have to be 100% sure since I will have to buy them, ship them to Iceland, pay toll and sh*t.

Also the Hedman are a little cheaper and they come with reducers, but if the quiality of the 2451 is better then I'll take those.
