Headers

Tried on my pacesetters today and found the pass side doesn't fit with a powerglide, one primary pipe interferes with the transmission, not even close. Could be fixed by cutting and repositioning that pipe. Drivers side fits fine but the collector kind of points towards the drivers side instead of straight back, no big deal. They both don't interfere with the frame at all. I am using the edelbrock plates with moroso solid mounts.

Instead of modifying the headers, I am just going to order some BRP headers. So I am going to sell the ones I have if anyone is interested. They are used, ceramic coated, non-egr, F-Body ones that everyone is using.

I bought the E-bay stainless headers for $230 shipped. They look really good, but you'll have to ding in one of the primaries on the passenger side b/c they're ment for an F-body obviously, but other than that, the drivers side fits perfect.

Also, if you're running a TH-350-400 transmission, you'll probably have to take a die grinder or some kind of cut off wheel and trim off the "ears" on the bell housing to clear the headers.

do u still have the pacesetters and are they long tube? if so how do want for them?

i have pics in this section under"carbed GBody,mine fit ok because it has motor plates and sits way back and also the car has a TH350.i had to modify one tube on the passenger side as well.drivers side slid right in.
