Just about, you'll need to get your driveshaft shortened as well I'm pretty sure, but barring that, the fuel pump, trans xmember, and making sure the linkage on the trans is correct you should be good to go :) Just be sure the trans is a mech. speedo, it can be converted if it isn't.

You can use the pump, but you'll need a TBI Monte (4.3 V6) sending unit. It's not really much work to put the 700 in, if you can do the fab work you could probably reuse your stock crossmember or just use that aftermarket one, making it a bolt-in deal. To each their own, but if you already have the deeper gears you'd be happy with that 700, plus you could just put it all in as one unit.

Are you modifying the 305 at all? or are you putting it in stock out of the trans am? If your putting it in stock it makes it much simpler. When I rebuilt the 305 for my V8 S10 I swapped in an LT1 roller cam, it's a popular swap on the camaro/firebird websites. But its just enough of a change to mess up the factory chip, EFI can get really technical when you get into chip burning. ThirdGen.org has a lot of good info for EFI beginners to see what your getting into. I swapped a 305 into my S10 in place of the TBI 4.3. I kept the TBI and it works great, but it isn't as forgiving as a carb when you make other changes to the engine.

305s suck ### hole bore it and stroke it to a friggin' 350. it's the same block only stroked differently and you will get a #### of a lot more hps out of the 350 than a 305. also you shouldn't have any problems with the wiring.

Newsflash!! First off the 305 and 350 have always shared the same stroke of 3.48"... And secondly, you cannot just bore a 305 to a "350"...
