Injector question

Quick question. Will truck injectors work in an LS1 intake? I know the injector plug/connector is different for cars and trucks, but I am having a difficult time getting the injectors in and don't want to damage either piece.

After some research and measuring, truck injectors will not work in a LS1 intake manifold. The LS1 intake manifold has a small lip inside the injector hole and will not allow the truck injector to seat properly. You could take a drill and ream it out, but I'm not going to chance damaging the intake.
Also I have found that the truck injector is a different style connector and a different injector all together.
I have attached a picture below for reference. The truck injector is the short one on the left.
