L69 vs. Roller Cam

Is a 1986 L69 roller cam ready? They came with a flat tappet cam, but I wonder if they are already prepped for a roller cam.

1986 was the first year for the 1-piece rear main seal, but still uses the perimeter bolt valve covers, so it is a bit of an oddball year.

The L69 cam is indeed an L81 Corvette hydraulic flat tappet cam. IDK for sure, but I think the block is not roller ready & it's not a 1 piece rear main seal.

Thanks Tommy. The rear main seal is indeed 1 piece starting in 1986 and my 1986 305 does have a 1-piece rear main seal.

I also have my doubts about it being roller ready, but want to know for certain before opening it up.

It's been >15 years since rebuilt, but I think my 86 Z28's LG4 had 1 piece, flat tappet, and no provisions for roller.
