150 shot, cheap single nozzle kit. If you get the msd carb kit, the ignition box is totally programable, even has a nitrous retard!

rolling on the gas then hitting the NOS it ran a 6.8 1/8 mile, with quite mufflers on.

If your leaning towards a carb 6.0 try to find a copy of the car craft from april and may 2007.They built a totally stock longblock minus cam put in a small comp cam stock lifters and a gm perf parts intake and msd 6010 ignition box to control the stock coils.Made 480 horse power. The next month they slaped on the l92 truck heads a slightly bigger cam though still only like 228/230 @ 50 and new pushrods(the stock ones bend sometimes)and made 550 hp.My buddy has one in his full interior mustandg and is running 10.8x on motor and drove the whole drag week and all the races, a week after he put it together with no problems ,and was never in the bottom end.

is the l92 a 6.0 or a 6.2 ?

6.0 is just the basic truck motor, called an LQ4. The L92 heads are what most people put on their cars, but they came on the ls3 motors and 6.2's.

ok. so does this mean that if i bought a lq9 and used the L92 heads and a nice cam it would make more power than the lq4 with same parts .

nah...maybe a few more hp, but not worth the extra couple hundred dollars they want for the lq9. Id just get a basic lq4

my motor is from a 2005 and newer , they have coated pistons (most 02 and newer do), better ls2 rods and the good ls2 timing chain. I beat it for 2 years before changing heads, the cylinders still had the cross hatch markings
