ls1/6 question

ok. so i have a gen 3 ls6 bottom end. and its bored .10 over.
i got a steal of a deal on a ls1.. 100 dollars.. :-$ so my question, is it foolish to put the ls1 heads cam intake etc on my ls6 block, or should i just drop in the ls1 in and sell the ls6 short block.?? im not trying to be a road warrior just yet im trying to get it off the jackstands by summer.

basically the LS1 Bottom End and LS6 Bottom End is the same.

Ls1 came with small 241 heads and small intake

Alot of guys will install LS6 "243" Heads and LS6 intake on a LS1 to make more power and getting better performance out of them.

So my suggestion would be to get a set of 243 and LS6 intake and install on your LS6.

What year is the LS1? The LS6 also had better oiling provisions at the rear of the block.
