How do you bleed a ls1 t56 clutch? I assume its like brakes. Also do they make a special tool to get on the bleeder or can I use a socket?

I found this method to be the most effective way to bleed the hydraulics:

It's a HELL of a lot easier than crawling under there to bleed the slave cylinder imo

I've had the trans out of My 06 GTO 3 times in the last month. I couldn't get mine to bleed like You would with brakes. I had someone hold the pedal down while I broke the bleeder in the bellhousing loose. I left it open about 5-10 seconds then tightened it back up. Mine normaly bleeds in about 5 times. Make sure that You keep fluid in there they don't hold much.

what mount for the master cylinder for the clutch did you use? Also did you have to split the tunnel to make it fit the t56 I mean??
