We are looking to do a max frame notch on our malibu. We have the cage already in, the coil over bar is between the frame rails, and the anti-roll bar; bar is between the frame rails. Our main question is do you think we have enough support, so that we dont have to worry about any weak points in the frame. Here's a couple pictures of the coil over bar and anti-roll bar; bars between the frame rails...

We were thinking that if we tie a bar between the back seat saver bars and the coil over bar that would give us some more support for the frame rails... Here's some pictures of the idea (the blue tape represents the bracing bars)

I would say you are ok. I have looked at many notches and they all have less than you do and it is holding well for others.

I notched my wagon just past the middle seam, and its plenty strong.I also cut the rear of the frame and ran it straight back.

How much room are yoyu looking for. This mods on my car make enough room for a 30x10.5 radial slick on a 15x10 wheel with 5.5 bs

How this helps

Brad
