Need Help Identifying

I had recently traded down from a race car to more of a street strip car as I was inspecting it I ran across this switch type part located back by the tail shaft.

Can anyone tell me what this is sticking out of my 400 turbo, Thanks for the help

I just bought a dash cluster for my bu and it came with a auto meter speedo that hooks up electric no stock cable electric wire hook up that runs from the trans to the speedo that switch converts it over from anolog cable to electric the end that is caped of is for kick down cable I think hope this helps

Thank you very much, it does have an auto meter speedo but its doesn't work so now I know where to start looking.
