I have just purchased a low mile (50k) '80 Malibu and want to build a road car from it. I want to do brakes , tires , suspension.....engine and trans will be first. I have started collecting some parts. I have a complete energy suspension poly set for the car.....a "YA" steering box from a Buick type T...I am planning to box the upper and lower trailing arms , the lower fronts and make some frame mods. I wiil get a 350/350 combo from some of my chevy buddies(I'm a Ford guy-long story). I also have a Gear Vendors O/D in the basement I'm going to use...........Now, My question is, I have seen a thread on here about using modern F-body front sway bars. The 36mm one?.......which year cars are they from? Thanks G
