i have a 81 malibu i bought the frame has been notched it has a 15x8 rim with 275 60 15 with 4in bs the tire hits on outside when i hit pothole whats the biggest tire with rim i need thanks

5-7" is what tire specs recommend.

How low does your car set?
Is the rearend centered up (within 1/2" as most are off)?
