Was going to box in my stock upper/lower control arms and was wondering if I just put solid spacers in place of poly bushings if it was poss? Don't think I have seen this listed on the way to box in rear arms, was looking to save some money. I would put poly in the rear housing but not the arms. I am running about 400hp from the motor and launch about 2200-2500 in a mid 12 sec car which is approx 3100 lbs with me in it.

Using all solid bushings on a triangulated 4 link is a no-no. The rear suspension will bind like crazy. At the very least you'll need spherical bushings, heim joints, poly or rubber bushings on one end of each link.

X2 on solids.No No No.

Here is my formula:

Boxed lowers with Poly greased to excess with synthetic brake grease.

Non-boxed upper with poly in the arms, stock rubber (order for Camaro 1le) in the rear ears.

Should be fine for your HP/weight.

LS6 Tommy, sent a PM a while back about an alignment, did you get it?

Nope.

I haven't done my alignment yet, but I will be using the spec's supplied by Doug @ Global West.
