Spool question...

my 8.5 needs a posi, and i plan to eventually get a 9" but can't afford it just yet. what is needed to put in a mini spool, full spool??

for a full spool,you will need c-clip eliminator kit.

for around $600-$700, you can buy a spool, axle, and c-clip elim kit for your 8.5 and not have to worry about doing a 9" at all. i had a mini spool on a street driven car (granted, it was in the 7.5 i had). it was starting to twist the center blocks out of the side pieces after just 250 miles and 5 passes down the track.
