suspension travel question

Season is done here but will try your suggestions in the Spring. I really get into working on suspension systems work also. A friend of mine and myself have gotten a small block nova on 9" tires and Calvert bars to 60' in the lower 1.30's and have almost had it on the rear bumper. have had my wagon with a mild big block 60 @ 1.48.

if I understand correctly (and I may not) you want your front suspension to unload and transfer weight to the rear axle:
use a v-6 spring or the morroso fronts you've already mentioned. These springs will "store" energy and help transfer energy (by shifting weight bias from front to rear) when you go from stage to launch.
