what are you doing with the car? i have a stock sway bar on my car that sees mostly strip use and it works alright...but i had it laying around. if i was going to spend money on one for a drag racing application, i'd buy a bolt in anti-roll bar.

I have one, and coupled with a larger diameter front bar, shorter/stiffer springs, and a pair of F41 front braces mine handles like it's on rails compared to how it used to ride.

hey guys what are my choice's on a rear sway bar on my 80 model

Hello
I just wanted to suggest to you that UMI Performance has a solid 1in rear sway bar. We manufactured them to work with the factory lower control arm and our aftermarket arms. Below is a link to show you what all UMI Performance has to offer!

If you have any other questions feel free to ask and I will be more than glad to help!

They also sell a rear version to fit the older Chevelle's that is 1 1/8" instead of 1". It will also fit the Gbody with very little modification.

brad would i need any other mounts or hangers for that bar

Hello
We manufactured our sway bars to work with factory Lower Control Arms and our lower control arms. As long as the vehicle came with rear sway bar stock (so there are holes in the lower control arms). There is no other brackets that are needed. If you have any other questions feel free to ask and I will be more than glad to help.
Thanks
