Has anyone had T-400 lock up in third gear?? Made it to the semi finals and was on a good pass when the trans locked up around the 1000 ft cone - wasn't pretty from there.
Teardown showed the valve body had leaked and actuated the rear band and the rest is history. There was a low spot on the trans casting along with a bolt that lost torque and the gasket just couldn't hold. New set of slicks and an exchange of parts that I had it made the track last week-end.
