Ive been reading about trying to improve the instant center on my car in hopes of better traction. I currently have a 12 bolt with 3.07 gears and traction is a joke. I read that you need to lower the rear so the lca are level with the ground for better instant center. My problem is that even with stock springs front and rear my car looks like a 4x4 in the front end. If I lower the front so it looks more even is it going to cancel any benefit from leveling the rear lcas?

Thanks

Traction is like a 1000 piece puzzle. There's not "one" magic move to make it occur. Ride height, weight transfer, suspension travel, relocation of four-link attachment points for instant center geometry, pinion angle, stock arm and bushing deflection and flex, air bags or anti-roll bar to resist axle torque, etc, as well as the differential carrier style; open, posi, locker, spool. Need more specific information on your whole setup and intended usage to be able to develop a plan with priorities for most effective, best bang for buck, etc.

specs so far are :

383 with 76mm turbo, turbo350 with 3000 stall, 69 chevelle 12 bolt with 3.07s cclip eliminators and eaton posi, double adjustable uppers, stock lowers, all with poly bushings and heim joint on uppers. Tires are 275/60/15 MT ET street radials.

All springs and shocks are stock so far. I have a set of qa1 single adjustables to put on the front.

In the near future is probably a spohn pro-touring anti roll bar and probably some 50/50 rear shocks.
