Turn Signal Lever

Just bought a turn signal lever from an 81 chevy van with cruise to use on my 5.3/4L80E swap so i can have cruise control. Just wondering if it will work in my 79 malibu or will I have to change the turn signal cam out to accept this lever that is held in by a screw?

From what I can tell ur gonna need the rest of the switch to make it work

Or maybe I should just go with this one out of a late 80's corvette since it has the same end as the turn signal lever on my 79 malibu.
