he does have some valid points, but "runout due to heat spotting" IS warped brake rotors, simply because the rotor got hot and now has high and low spots due to improper cooling.
This is pretty interesting. To be honest I did not get a chance to read the entire article, but I will later.
I noticed "warped" rotors on my R1 after and during a trackday at beaver run. Slamming on the front brake at 145 and trying to slow for turn one caused some major heat.
The remedy was as simply as sandblasting my rotors. Instantly cleaned up the problem, but I had to go to hh pads, to avoid further deposits. FWIW
