Thought you were asking about 454mali's... I was gonna say that's where I routed mine. I bent hardline almost all the way up to the carb... left just enough for the filter and enough rubber hose to connect to the carb... bent the rest of the fuel and brake system (besides the lines coming off the master cylinder) too. I'd strongly recommend prebent brake lines unless you're well experienced with flaring lines and have a good flare tool (had several leaks).
On that note, I dreamt about driving mine out here, it's the percfect time of year for hot rodding in Tucson... didn't help that my g/f asked me what else I had to finish on it for it to be road ready, which isn't all that much:
Bolt on sway bars/braces
Seal pass. floorboard with that aluminum stuff from Eastwood (can't think of the name of it)
Torque rear suspension in place
Buy/weld/rivet replacement shifter hump (and install shifter trim piece/boot)
Buy/install carpet
Install seats and get some cheapy seat covers
Final check of brake/fuel/cooling for leaks
I want to get a different shifter stick (current one is fugly) but that's more cosmetic than anything right now. I've also conceded the 17x9.5" Camaro wheels are a bust, I may try to order some semi-cheap wheels that fit (cheapest I've seen are Soft 8s, but some tire store aluminum wheels don't cost much more) and use the 275/40s for now (thinking it can't be much more than $400 after all's said & done).
