Well I've been bottom bulb racing since I started back in 2000. First it was footbrake with a turbo350, then 4 yrs ago I went to a glide with transbrake still bottom bulbin. So I finally decided to try a delay box so I pulled the trigger and bought a "little wizard". Just installed it today. I set it up with a quick disconnect plug so the box can b removed and a jumper wire so when I want to bottom bulb i can. up here u have to remove the box from the car if ur running anything else than super pro or "top e.t" Haven't tried it yet so I have no idea if I'm gonna even like top bulb racing but I won't know unless I try. Lol

got the trans and converter put in cut the crap out of my elbow so i said the he!! with it and lock the garage up and came in!
made me a 3x8 work bench with 12" back board out of 3/4" plywood two 8' 4x4 and some 2x6 from a fence i tore out
Yep, it makes people ask why I painted it purple LMAO, Because I already had Chevy Orange, Red, Black, and Blue.
Purple is kinda cool in a different way!
I broke my rear end at the track last night. Haven't pulled but from what i can see of the ring gear through an access hole in the cover (I put it there) It looks like I sheared the teeth off the pinion gear. 7.5" 10 bolt, not surprised, its been howling at me for a little while. Now I have a good excuse to go to 4.11's from 3.73's. I know i won't pick up much, but it will help turn my 29" tall tire. I used 3.73 when i was running a 26" tire and it needs a little more gear with the taller tire now.

do i see a weld on the bellhousing?
forgive my lack of experience, but is that a normal thing to do when it breaks?
