CC'd my 601 heads yesterday for the 311 roller

Then I began attempting to bleed the brakes on the Bonneville myself. That didnt go so well. Now I need to wait for a day someone can help since my nearly 8month pregnant wife can help much atm and i aint going to ask lol

picked up some Poncho rally wheels for the Bone this weekend

pulled the bone outside for some pictures. Starting to reconsider the direction of the car. I really need to focus on the Malibu build and this is becoming a distraction. Might try to locate a stock motor, 305 or 350 to slap in pretty much stock and cruise it. The 4.11s will still allow it to be peppy

I took the Elk out to a friend's shop. The rear main seal is leaking again. Going to change the transmission from a th200 to 2004r. Also going to change the rear gears from 2.41 to 3.73.

Transmission and drive line removed yesterday.

Thanks. The rear main seal was leaking. I had put it in backwards. I thought that the thick side was to go forward instead of the oil lip. We are putting in a 4 piece pan gasket. We got the cork glued to the block today.

I got the new rear main seal installed and pan back on. Got the 2004r transmission bolted up to the engine.
