Loaded up the wife and kids in the Malibu a went to the mountains. Lots of tight curvy roads and plenty of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Hours and hours of fender rubbin fun! 8) A few of the roads were a little uneven, my poor exhaust took a beating 8) No idea on the miles, but it was 2 tanks of gas :shock:

Sounds like a great time, I've got to shoot up there one of these days. The Astra is slow as balls, but fun to break all 4 loose in the turns!
When the leaves get to changing colors I'm going to try and make a trip to "Tail of the Dragon" at Deals Gap NC/TN. I'm going to leave the kiddos at grandmas house and really have at it. I think appsk8r said he was going to try to make it out at the same time. Time for a go pro camera.
Changed the plugs and oil, can't beat a FREE oil change on Royal Purple!!

My friend came over with his SBC 1969 Nova, said he is unable to do a burnout by just smashin the gas!,, 355, Edelbrock RPM Heads, Cam, & Intake, 2500 stall, turbo 350, 3.73 Posi..... So looking at a few things... The timing was WAY off, pulled the cap and the rotor was LOOSE :shock: , and the carb was way out of adj. After about an hour of messin'.. and after a few beat runs {me driving , of course} and more adjustments,, Now she rips the tires off all the way through second and into drive!! One final spin and I look in the mirror and there is a cop on my bumper [-X [-X , Fortunately I recognize him as a friend of mine but my buddy is sh*ttin his underroos!!! I pull in the driveway and :lol: :lol: he tells us that the tunning session is over! I thought my buddy was going to pass out, all he could say is,,, " WOW, my car never did that before!!" I guess he was happy!!!! :lol: :lol:

turbo1dr, those gauges look BA, but what did they come out off? I've seen em before but can't place em.
