Made the appointment to have my front windshield and rear glass pulled and resealed, they leak every time it rains or I wash the car. Here's hoping they don't break the back glass [-o<

well got the wheels and tires one last night the 275/60 look good pics later got the rear brakes done but the header didnt fit so i didnt get the exhaust done oh and the trans craped out on me but i got a fresh 350th and stall to go in it later

Started removing the cruis control unit and wiring to it, anyone ever have a cruise unit with non cruise control car ? weird

Bad news. I went to put the new Cowl Hood on today & when we opened the box we found the driver's side corner by the windsheild is bent. It wasn't anything you would expect from looking at the box. There was no damage on any of the corners. I left a voicemail on Fred's shop phone. I'm sure we'll be able to work something out, but if he wants to just give my money back, I'm going to get an AMD. They have their on tooling (the only company that does), are widely regarded as being the best fitting & highest quality. Summit has them for only $359.96 with $99.00 shipping right to the house, soooo...

I bought mine thru GroundUp (not sure of maker) only because they live 5 minutes up the road. Took off my stock hood and drove it there and installed it!
Anywho...i noticed, the driver side corner of my hood (mext day i noticed) is slightly bent too! There was no signs of damage to the box. No signs of damage to the hood as well! I am going to live with it Its not super noticable. To the trained eye, its plain as day!! Whats up with that.....

This isn't just "slightly bent". It's creased. It's right in an area where the hood is double walled,then tapers & meets the pinched edge, so I can't see any easy way to make it right. Of course, I don't do bodywork, so I may be 100% wrong. Funny thing is, the corner that's bent is at the top of the box. They packaged the hood laying on the passenger side when the box is upright. shrug.gif

Fred says a little corner bend in the hood is no problem & he'll take care of it, so I'm not worried. Guess I'll be putting it on afterall...
