This is more of a weekend summary for myself but on Friday night I picked up my new distributor and rebuilt it. Saturday morning I installed the distributor and then mounted my new gauge trio quickly. Late Saturday night consisted of getting the engine setup on the dyno and started. All day Sunday was a blast doing some tuning and burning through fuel all day tinkering with the fuel injection/HEI combination. Pretty awesome weekend if I do say so myself...

I cried for a while this morning looking at the Malibu and scratching my head. Started takeing the door all apart and see how bad on in side, the frame rails in door. I am hopeing they are good and it is just the sheet metal thats creased in and riples. Called for a Paintless Dent Removel guy to come take a look at it in the morning 10am. Well see??????????????

Reinstalled better front bumper off a low milage '81

New bumper brackets by TNT
New J nuts & push fasteners from Motor City Fastener
Eliminated center reinforcement & 8 screw asms & 2 bolts from original bumper brkts
Cleaned up all bolts and painted chassis black
Blasted remaining bumper brackets and painted chassis black
Blasted all 3 bumper fillers by SS Blasting and painted by Showcase collision

Looks better and a little lighter !
