I'm glad I'm not back east with all the snow!

I rolled my El Camino and practically everything in my garage (including my small lathe and big compressor) into the trailer to go to my Dad's garage. I'm selling my house and looking for a better house house for my family and me. It sucks putting all that stuff away, but I know it will get better sooner or later.

Let's see, ordered a th400 modulator line from Summit, took two weeks to get it....it sucked, ordered one on ebay, came within three days, looks just like it came from GM. So, no I can finish off my TH400 swap into my grudge car.

My maroon project 454 car had a factory crossmember that had been butchered for dual exhaust, it was sagging and causing the fan blades to hit on the radiator shroud. I swapped in a Jeg's dual hump crossmember I bought off of another member from the calssifieds section. Ended up adding two washers to shim up the trans for the best fan to shroud clearance.

Now, I know spring shouldhave sprung here in Oklahoma, but, THREE inches of snow!!?! So, project stuff is on hold, no test drives at this time. Need to hit a salvage or two, my maroon project needs wiper arms and parts.

Didn't work on my car but started building the turbo manifold for my friends GTI. We're going 8's this season in it.

I installed a Pioneer head unit and ipod player in the Monte on Sunday. This head unit has been in about 7 or 8 cars now and is like a member of the family.

Waiting for the snow to melt in front of it so i can move it into my buddys garage and start working on it. Looks like it might be awhile cause were gonna get hit with more snow tomarrow. curse_sign.gif

Finally got around to getting the air cleaner done...obviously I still need to blast it and paint it.

Also took some measures to take some slop out of the shifter...this was one of the solutions...

One of my trim pieces started to come off...so I began removing the resr and found this...FML...I guess Im putting a damn stripe on the car...

Glad i took advantage of the nice 34 degree day this last Sunday and moved Malibu from little barn up to the shop. Stared at her today why I filled up the tractor to get ready to Snow Plow for are Blizzard tomorrow 10 to 19 inches of snow in 12 hour period. Maybe get snowed in up to the shop and change out transmission,rear gears,front springs,new shifter, and redoo the top of the console for new shifter. curse_sign.gif curse_sign.gif curse_sign.gif I am so ready for spring!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got the Malibu up on jack stands to get ready to take out the rear and do the drive trane swap from the Monte.I know its a small step but the first step towards getting this car on the raod after twelve long years.
