Took it for a ride for the first since November.

Drove my grudge car to the station last shift. Woke up the neighborhood with the big block sounding off thru for inch exhaust and Flowmasters. Ah...driving a car on the street with a spool, 3800 converter, and 4.10s....priceless. Some moron in a ricer/tuner pulls up next to me in traffic and blps the throttle while we are at a traffic light, I let him squirt off then ease up next to him, drop the hammer, go into a short low earth orbit at which point the radials protest any further attempt at trcation...at the next light the guy is hanging his head. Its really a shame they did not sell big block Malibus, but, when you drive a salty one on street tires, I understand.....

Thank god for spring, horsepower, and the liberty to drive something fun, in spite of its fuel economy!

Jumped mine,fired right up,amazed,hasnt ran in almost 3 months,and we had lots of -10 degree days,block did not crack!

Bar's posts are the ones that make me really want to get my '78 out here to AZ. I'll be able to drive it year-round thanks to the weather

Drove mine to a cruise in last weekend and yesterday i went to another cruise in about 20 miles away... This is the longest cruise i have taken since putting it together...The only thing killing me is the 411 gears cruising 3100 rpm at 55 sucks...

I primed my bumpers and painted around my tail lights and changed my licence plate surround...

Had to do a little re wiring but got my headlights working again and changed the shifter stick to a shorter one.

Showed it off to a guy that contacted me on how to install a 4 speed. Started it up and let it warm up a little. I felt like a proud papa!
