I have some 15x8's with 4" bs and 295 50's on them, I need about a 1/4" spacer to get them off the frame. i think that 4.5 bs is a little more than you need but if your runnin something like 255 or maybe 275's than you might get away with it. HTH

If you have no sidewall bulge at all, then you may get away with it, but in all likelihood, it will still rub on the turns.

For what? Widest tire, tallest tire, stock wheel well, stock frame rail, mini tub, etc?

Just about every possible combination can be found here: http://maliburacing.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=35753

I have 15x8 vette alloys on mine with a 255/60. Those are 4" backspace. There's about an inch and an eighth to the frame. Using the same tire, the additonal half inch of backspace would put you at about 1/2-5/8 to spare, depending on how centered the rear is in the car. I have run 275s on the 4" backspace without problems, but it was very tight.
