Wolfe Race Craft Anti Roll Bar

Hey guys,I'm in the middle of installing a Wolfe Race Craft (http://www.wolferacecraft.com/) anti roll bar. Here's some pics.I trimmed an edge off the upper spring pockets to be sure the arms on the roll bar cleared when it rotates up and down, and added another notch to be sure the bolt heads would clear too.The directions didn't say anything about plating the frame rail, but I did anyway.Out of the box the thing fits the frame rails perfect. They want a little side to side clearance between the rotating part and the tube you weld to the frame. With the extra thickness of the plate I added I had to grind down the tubes equally on each end to gain proper clearance.
I also went with QA1 coilover springs in place of my stock springs.I'm using the 14" 110lb springs.I tried a bunch of other lengths & pound rates, but that's what seems to fit my car for the ride height I want.
A local speed(http://www.autofabracecars.com/index.htm) shop has been very gracious and let me go through their spring selection.I also made new spring perches to go on top of the housing like the G body rear.My rear is a 70 Chevelle rear & the perches were in front of the housing instead of on top.You may get away with the stock style springs mounted there, but with the smaller coilover springs,it put them on too much of an angle & bound them up.

x2 on the clean install and welds. It looks like someone hs spent some time behind a welder before. I was wondering where you got you r new spring perches from? I need to get them also for my install when i get home? :?:

Thanks for the compliments. The welds I can't take credit for.My friend Dominic did the welds. He does an excellant job.I fit the stuff, then he welds it for me.
The spring perches are home made from 1/8 flat steel & 2.5" outside diameter exhaust pipe.I then laid a piece of the same 1/8 steel crossways front to back down in side the pipe,up on it's edge for support and its welded too.I bent my steel plates in a vice..LOL! I cut half of the original 70 Chevelle spring perch off, that made room for the new perch, that gave my springs room too so they wouldn't rub the original perches. It also left me a place to weld the new steel plate to.Talk about low buck..LOL!
Here's some pics.

I thought it looked like that was what the pipe was from. I looked more at it after my post and seen that, that was what it is. I mean what did you have in making them $20 maybe. I hope you don't mind if I steal your design idea for mine do ya. If you don't and anybody asks i can always give you the credit for the design LMBO.
