I ran the bolt of the spring compressor through the shock hole and just used the bottom of my spring compressor to bring the bottom of the spring up in the pocket and then jacked the lower control arm into place then connected the balljoints and loosened the compressor...

you will probably be alright with the smaller size tires but if they bulge at all you might have some issues I have a set of 16" Irocs on the monte and they barely clear with a 4.9" offset so I think you'll be alright

have him measure the backspace.... a 15x8 will fit a 28x10.5 with 3.5bs.... is your 8.5 a grand national 8.5 because it's the same lenght as the factory 7.5..
I have used it before you just have to use a relay because most clutch switches are ground based or vice versa... it is important to see how high it releases though if it releases the limiter before the car starts to pull then you defeated the purpose...
