I would've gone with a hydraulic T/O personally, then you could use whichever bellhousing you saw fit. I haven't followed this specific conversion too closely, so I don't know all the specifics (been just skimming the posts lately).

For a Saginaw, the driveshaft is the same as a TH350. I can't say the same about a Muncie/T10 though.

Yeah, it's pretty quick in 1st, even for havin' a 2.29 :lol: The math equals roughly the same as a 2004R with a 3.42 1st, and 3rd is the same as 4th on the 2004R. I'm not sure where 2nd is, somewhere in the middle :roll: All I know is I can hit 70mph before shifting into 3rd, but that's...

I started a thread a while back on Muncie/T-10/Saginaw ratios. Easiest way is to look at the input shaft & look for how many rings go around the input shaft (perpendicular to the splines). That should give you the ratio set (my 3-speed is the 3.50 first gear set) :)

The Hooker badge didn't have a part number that I saw :? These were supposed to be ceramic coated, guess I didn't break 'em in right or somethin', they've been losing the coating over the years... The tube for the z-bar (pivot) seems to be contacting the header, but it hasn't caused any...
