Effect of track width on caster/camber + lower a-arm ?s

Found the arms on Speedway's site, suppose I could e-mail them... http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Lower-Control-Arm,2095.html The Moog part numbers are... G-Body: K6145T X-Body (also early A-Body): K5103 I'm trying to find out a)if there is a difference where the ball joint bolts to the spindle...

Effect of track width on caster/camber + lower a-arm ?s

http://maliburacing.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=72614 I picked up a set of 17" F-Body wheels fairly recently, and I've been putting off buying spacers, mainly because I'm not a huge fan of running them. I came across the above thread while looking for info on changing the track width in the...

    Tremec TKO 600

If all else fails maybe you could try a tubing bender (like one used for brake lines) and bend it out of the way. I know it can be done by hand, but I'd feel a little more peace of mind if I was using the bender.

I'll have to see if I can find his post, someone has a set of 17s on a Malibu that appears to sit at stock height.

Many people are running 17s, 18s as well. http://maliburacing.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=35753 I have a set of 17x?? F-Body/Corvette wheels with 275/40s on them I'm going to try to stuff into the front (rear I'm not worried about).

    Exhaust Video's

Finally got one with mine... it's not the greatest, I'll have to update it when the motor's fully broken in. Stock Vortec long block, GMPP intake (PN 12366573), Edelbrock 600 (1405), Comp XE268H cam (12-242-2). Hooker 2451 headers, 2½" Pypes full G-Body exhaust with GN-style exit, X-Pipe, and...

Wrecked LS1 T56 Z28 - what do you think? Look..!

I'd personally pass on the console, it wouldn't flow with the rest of the interior (take a look at G-Body consoles for what I mean) imo. Craig (388bu) has a nice looking console setup in his Malibu with a T56. But true, if you can get the whole car & part it out, you may be farther ahead. You...

    GM mini starter

I started researching this a bit today because I needed one to fit a 153-tooth flywheel like hopdup was asking. The starter for '96+ Vortec (Gen I, not III) motors is for a 168-tooth flywheel and won't work. However, while I was searching for a replacement flywheel dust cover (still haven't...

    GAUGE CLUSTER

Are you talking about blownbigblock that made aluminum/stainless panels? They're not gauge-specific (you'll have to drill your own holes) so you can use whatever gauges you want.

I've driven it a little, but not too much yet since the exhaust isn't quite done.

I see you're using the steel horseshoe... hopefully you have a round cover steering box, otherwise you'll run into pulley interference issues. This was after grinding on the box cover.

That's kinda why I went with blue on mine, but I have stock Vortecs so I'm stuck with the centerbolt covers.

    elect prob / parking lights

#-o I forgot about the turn signal wiring, but that would only be for the brake/turn signal lights, it shouldn't affect the running lights at all.

Hey look guys! Another blue engine! :D ;) Are those aftermarket Vortecs? I had to do a double-take when I saw the perimeter-bolt valve covers.

    elect prob / parking lights

Most all GM columns from that era have the same plugs on the column for the starter, but that shouldn't matter anyway, it could be in your headlight switch, that's where the lights are supposed to get power. If power comes through somewhere else, something isn't wired correctly.
