31 spline axles

just wondering who runs 31 spline moser axles and how much power are you puting to them?

I ran 31's in a 85 camaro with a 388sbc shooting a 250 shot on a regular bases. Had a 1.26 60" and 6.06 @ 114 with no problems. I plan to use them in my bu project I have started. Putting them in a 8.8 using safety hubs. I think I have figured out a way to get by the upper control arm angle problem. 8)

How do you think you solved the uca issue?

I don't know if it will work untill I get it done but it's worth a shot. I I'm going to take the back part of the uca to a metal fab shop (they run promod so they understand what I'm trying to do) and have them to make new ends with a angle built into them. As long as the anlge is not very steep I think I can get but with it. I will have to install the rearend with car setting at ride hight (at weight) to find th correct angle. I don't see why were the pivot point is as long as the bar has the correct angle. I'm sure someone has done this before but no one has posted how it works. I'm still getting up parts but will post as soon as I find out if it works and will post all info.

I'm still running 31 splines with detroit locker and should be around 1000hp.Last I checked they still looked like new. Art
