Stock width Moser 12 bolt, frame notched to the seam or maybe a little more, stock tubs beat with a big hammer, lip rolled, drum brakes, 15X10 inch wheel with 5.5 backspace, and M/T ET Streets size 28x12.50. They rub on the inside and the outside going around corners. 28X11.50 might help some. I recommend a full notch and mini tub, along with rolling the lip as flat as possible. I switched to a 15x8 with 4.5 inch backspace and a 28X11.50 ET Street and now have tons of room inside and outside.

This pic is with the 15X10 and 28x12.50, the car has also been lowered.

I have 15 x 10 Weld Drag Lights on my rear end,but the 12 bolt has been shortened 1-2" on each side and the frame nothchec like you see in the others, but not mini tubbed at all.they give my MT Drag Radials compaired to my (RIP) Brothers 73' Ventura at least 1 1/2" more foot print as the ten inch rim pullls the tire out flatter on my car and makes for great tire to foot print ratio...I have access to a set of 15 x 12 inch rims but I would have to cut another 5 inches in front and rear and roll wheel well lip and dont have a plazma cutter to make it precise as I would need to do it right,so I am going to stay with the 10's for now and see what it will do this year.

What type of rear end were you useing? 10,12 bolt? was it shortened any?The reason I ask is I have a chance to get my brothers(RIP) 15 X 12 RIMS,but the off set on the rear is hudge and needs about 3" more clearance on the front and rear of frame and appears that they would hit the shocks and SSM bars as well?Any one with any suggestions Please let me know,as it I can figure something out they will be sold at Norrwak,OH for the Pontiac Nationsl

You don't have to notch the frame to run a 10" rim . You can run a 10x15 with 5.5 back spacing and all you have to do then is role the fender lip. I have done it , on my ol 79 and was running the 295-50-15 bf goodrich and it was perfect and plenty of room between frame and tire.
