Bumping this back to the top because I want to talk cams again. Broke in this cam in december last year. Being finishing the car so I haven't done much except a couple of light hole shots in the street, but the cam has gone flat on me. Comp XE294H flat tappet. I am going to try and get comp to replace it but I am not sure if they will since it has been over a year since I purchased it and I failed to remove the inner valve spring for breakin like they recconmended. If they won't replace my cam I would like to go roller this time with similar specs so I know my springs and clearances are ok (.588int .593ext), but I am not familar with roller cams. Is there lifters that will work without having to do any machining?
